Allied Mortgage Group – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Allied Mortgage Group on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘The Worst mortgage company’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Allied Mortgage Group with a pinch of salt.

Allied Mortgage Group is the worst Mortgage company on earth. You are lucky if you didn’t get to work with this company.All the staff I worked with in this company are good lairs.They basically lure you in and after you submit all the documents, they start to give you major delays or go MIA because they know you can’t go anywhere else.I totally agreed with the previous reviewers. I almost had to get a lawyer involved to get the loan or I will lose the house.My nightmare started after I submitted all the documents, but it didn’t end after the loan is closed.It took this company 30 days to do some kind of “post loan review” and it hugely delayed my contractor’s payments.My loan is a construction loan. This “post loan review” was supposed to take no more than one week but it took them 4 weeks!And my contractor had to stop the work to wait for the payments!I would give them 0 stars or negative stars if I could. I don’t remember or lost counting how may times I had to call or emails their loan officers or managers trying to push the process and they all sounded they really don’t care about your situations.Make sure you run away as fast as you could!

It is difficult to ascertain whether Allied Mortgage Group is a Scam, or Legit, based on this single review. In the coming weeks/days, I will try to research deeper into Allied Mortgage Group, analyze and list more critical reviews and identify a pattern (or lack of) to substantiate the claim mentioned above.

Regardless, until then, we give the benefit of doubt to the reviewer and list Allied Mortgage Group as someone you need to avoid (for now).
