Alterra Home Loans – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Alterra Home Loans on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Worst experience’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Alterra Home Loans with a pinch of salt.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a Alterra Home Loans. Without writing a book, I have had 3 loans done through them in under 2 years.The reason being is because they fund a loan( Venta) and give you the monthly mortgage they commit too.They will instantly sell the loan to another company and within a year the amount of your monthly mortgage will increase dramatically.They under fund the escrow account to get the number your looking for,  but when the new company reassesses the account it dramatically increases because it’s not enough to cover taxes, insurance etc.There is a lot more to the story, feel free to message me if you want more details.

It is difficult to ascertain whether Alterra Home Loans is a Scam, or Legit, based on this single review.
