I came across a critical review of Bellco Credit Union – Sloan’s Lake on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘I Mean Super Nice Folks’.

Do Not Use Bellco Credit Union – Sloan’s Lake For A Business Account!Here’s the rub. Nice, and I mean super nice folks.I was simply soooooo excited and overjoyed to leave my monster bank and join a credit union.I’m tired of being a part of a system that is just disgusting, like Chase.The folks at Bellco have all been so attentive and understanding, cooperative and good to me.My personal account is amazing and offers all kinds of lil perks.Business is a different story. Laura was the wonderful person that was so kind as to help me set up my accounts.I had to visit a second time because I could not set up my online business account.She was great in sitting down with me and trying to get everything done.We left and I tried to login to the business account at home. Again, no luck.Another hour of trying, nothing. I called and left her a mssg.She is, as always, super nice and calls me back, to refer me to their telephone banking folks.So, after ten minutes on hold, and a half hour speaking, the phone banker, also very professional and kind, finally spills the beans.Bellco’s system for business banking does not work on a smartphone or tablet. Period.Not set to desktop view, nothing at all.Today, in this day, I cannot run my business finances with an iPhone or Android, in any way.I haven’t even turned my laptop on in six months.I’m going on two weeks with no ability to access my business account.Huh. Then, we turn on the laptop just for fun, and still, nothing works, just says none of the records match.Needless to say, everybody I’ve spoken with says the development of the ability to use the accounts on the smartphones is a priority task at my new bank.In 2014. Only no one can tell me when. Now, please keep in mind…I’m not referring to an app.Nope that’s clearly much too pie in the sky.I simply need the ability to use the Internet on any phone or tablet and access the account.Good grief, who balances their checkbook any longer? Come on Bellco, we all go online and monitor our accounts.Pretty sure my grandmother even does. What a let down.As much as I’d like to be able to sing the praises of the smaller, customer service oriented bank, there is simply no possible way, no matter how kind and attentive they are.If you have a business to run, and you want to run it in a responsible, organized way, you cannot do it here.My local pizza parlor has an app.I’ve got a happy hour app that saves me a ton of money.Groupon rocks with a secured app. My Bank, however, does not. Bummer.
