Benetrends Financial – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Benetrends Financial on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘I Am Very Frustrated With Benetrends Financial’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Benetrends Financial with a pinch of salt.

I am very frustrated with Benetrends Financial. Mainly due to the ongoing monthly fee of $130/ month that the sales person neglected to mention when I signed up.Maybe it’s in the fine print somewhere of some document that I signed, but this is a drain on my small business.I’ve mentioned it to my representative, but she just replies with a list of the services they provide for this fee, which amounts to preparing some documentation once a year to ensure your IRS compliance.I don’t mind paying a fee for some of these services, but I feel duped regarding the monthly fee and there seems to be no way out.If you feel like $1500 a month in perpetuity is worth their services then go for it.If they every decide to actually help small business by providing fair, honest and upfront pricing I’ll come back and change my review.

It is difficult to ascertain whether Benetrends Financial is a Scam, or Legit, based on this single review. In the coming weeks/days, I will try to research deeper into Benetrends Financial, analyze and list more critical reviews and identify a pattern (or lack of) to substantiate the claim mentioned above.
