I came across a critical review of Clark County Credit Union on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Debit Card Got Stolen’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Clark County Credit Union with a pinch of salt.
Here is what the review says –
Aw man, I hate writing bad reviews, but this would be a disservice to other customers if they werent warned.Ive been a member here for about 28 years. Give or take. This is by far the worst location Ive ever had to deal with.Majority of my membership, I visited the bank on Tenaya, and new one on Decatur & 215.Both branches were great. Professional, knowledgeable tellers and managers, along with great customer service. Many positive experiences, even when my debit card got stolen. The past couple months Ive been going to this location due to a move. This branch is absolutely sub-par to any of the others. Every month for the past four years at least, I come into a branch to do a external wireless transfer, and other services.Very simple, very painless process. Most tellers take 5 minutes to do it and Im out the door. It used to be a great experience. So what sort of circus is being run at the Windmill location, that causes me to wait one hour the first time, and +40 minutes my second(and most likely last) visit? Lack of training. I come in to do a external wire transfer, as per usual. No one seems to know how to do it, much less comprehend the basics of just pulling up past transactions and the whole thing is already filled out for you.I feel bad for snapping at the tellers Les and Brittany, but I was frustrated by their lack of training.Im sure theyre good people and its not their fault, but whoever “trained them should be ashamed of themselves, and flat out embarrassed. And its not just them, I cant remember my tellers name from my first visit, but it was the same problem, it took her 30 minutes to figure out the credit card machine was broken. Its a waste of time and frankly, Im tired of it. I dont have time to drive +15 min to another location with better trained employees.Within the next month Ill be withdrawing all my assets from CCLV and going to another bank.I cant trust my money and account numbers with dunce employees. Thanks for nothing guys, it was a nice almost 30 years.
