I came across a critical review of Denise Freed Group Compass on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Denise Is Rude’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Denise Freed Group Compass with a pinch of salt.
Here is what the review says –
I cant tell if Denise is rude, lazy or just lacks basic business sense.I seriously believe she cost her client a substantial amount of money due to her unwillingness to pick up the phone.Im normally a very positive person (check my review history) and in my lifetime Ive only left one negative review prior to this one and that was when I was served rotten fish during a trip to Italy. My review is based solely on my interactions with Denise as a potential buyer for one of the properties she listed (11857 Missouri Ave).My fiance and I started looking for a house in West LA in the latter half of 2016.Eventually we found a property we liked in West LA and we put in an offer.Fast forward to March, 2017 and we still hadnt been able to close on the property due to various permitting issues. We were pretty frustrated at this point and we started to explore other options and thats when we came upon the Denises listing on Missouri. The listed price was on the higher end of the comps for the neighborhood but my fiance immediately fell in love with the property. After scoping out the details of the construction at the open house, I asked my agent to put in a verbal offer well above the list price. She spoke with Denise and informed me that the buyer was not looking at offers until March 22nd.As luck would have it the permits on our other property had come through and we needed to make a decision by March 21st as to whether or not we would waive our inspection contingencies and purchase the home.At this point I tried to reach out to Denise directly to express extreme interest in the property and ask for her to move up the offer date by 1 day.She ignored my calls and we ultimately decided to close on the other property largely because we didnt feel like rewarding such an abrasive individual with a commission on the sale.Im confident her choice to maintain such a rigid approach cost her client. My fiance became pretty emotionally attached to the property and our best and final offer would have come in well over $300,000 above the list price. If this property ultimately sells for less than $2,20,000 you all will know how much money Denise ended up losing for her client.
