I came across a critical review of Dr. Abraham Ishaaya on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Miscommunication’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Dr. Abraham Ishaaya with a pinch of salt.
Here is what the review says –
Short: Dr. Abraham Ishaaya ignored warnings of liver damage from my previous doctor and put me on similar medication without checking liver after I told them multiple times “please check my liver.Long: I moved to LA from NY this year and needed a new Doctor. Dr Abraham came recommended from a friend.I went in, the nurse was pleasant. When the Dr came in he seemed a little short with me but I brushed it off since I just needed blood work.I told them *repeatedly* my previous Dr was concerned about liver damage due to the medication I was on and this needed to be checked in the blood work along with cholesterol. They didnt check the liver the first time. He put me on meds similar meds so I figured “okay lets just see if these effect me differently.I went back in 6 weeks later for a follow up. AGAIN I told them “Please check my liver. The nurse in the lab said she would and they still didnt! They called me back to let me know my cholesterol went down great but what about my liver? I called back and they were dumbfounded that I would even want to know this. The nurse said she would follow up with the dr to run the blood work again since it was still within the window. This was end of December. I had not heard anything. I called to follow up and they had no clue what I was talking about. Now they want me to come back in and get blood work AGAIN! It is astonishing the amount of miscommunication at this office. My last doctor was so concerned about my liver and Abraham didnt even consider it an issue after telling him and his nurses multiple times. Neglect at best.
