Dr. Chu Edmond – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Dr. Chu Edmond on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Bad Experience’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Dr. Chu Edmond with a pinch of salt.

Here is what the review says –

After I saw Dr. Chu Edmond, it reminds me of why I haven’t had a primary MD all these years. He’s an insensitive person and has no people skills. For years, I haven’t find a nice doctor that can I call my PCP.I usually go straight to a specialist or urgent care when I need to see a doctor. And to be honest, they’re much nicer at the urgent care. After carefully doing research and reading reviews, I finally gave Dr. Chu a chance but it was a mistake.I came in for a recurrent sinusitis. Told him I had some reaction/side effects to certain kind of antibiotic. He told me it’s not a reaction/side effect, it’s just “You!” Doctor, a reaction doesn’t have to be a full allergic break out of rash in the back/body area.Maybe you’re too old to remember what you learned in school or couldn’t keep up with the current healthcare trend…I told him I have some kind of unknown allergies break out with hives for 3-4 weeks. The only thing he suggested is keep taking antihistamine and wait out few more weeks.Hopefully it goes away… He didn’t refer me to a allergist nor a dermatologist. While he listened to my lungs in the back, he put one of his hand on my BREAST.Not sure if he’s even aware that he’s doing that… It shocked me because as a patient I’ve never had any doctor putting their hands on my breast unless their intention was examining my breasts. As a Registered Nurse practicing for 4 years, I’ve never put my hands on anyone’s breasts while auscultation their lungs. There’s no need to!I paid $85 cash (they don’t have credit card access) and went home with nothing but a bad experience. No medications was prescribed nor any blood tests.I think I’ll just stick to my old routine, going straight to a specialist or urgent care. There’s no need for a PCP who has no empathy for their patients.
