Dr. Donna Wiggins – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Dr. Donna Wiggins on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘I AM UNHAPPY WITH THE CARE I'M RECEIVING!’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Dr. Donna Wiggins with a pinch of salt.

Here is what the review says –

So, I read plenty of good reviews on Dr. Donna Wiggins when I was referred to her as my OB, by my GYN.I’m 6 months pregnant now, and have thoroughly given her and her office sufficient amount of time before writing this review: I AM UNHAPPY WITH THE CARE I’M RECEIVING!During visits, Dr. Wiggins is nice and kind, but I feel like I’m in and out. This, in itself, is not necessarily a bad thing.I haven’t had any issues, so I guess there has been no reason to have longer/thorough/more satisfying visits.I have brought up a persistent cough/asthma that I have developed during my pregnancy, which she doesn’t seem concerned about, so I went to my physician regarding it.Besides that, my biggest problem with her and her office is the lack of responsiveness when I call with questions/concerns.This has been brought to her attention, and while she seems concerned about it, nothing has changed.I used to get very regular migraines and called with questions regarding what to do – no response for 2 days.I developed a yeast infection and was going out of town and asked them to called me back within 48 hours, but for 3 days, I still hadn’t heard. Then it was a weekend and I finally got a voicemail from them on Monday asking me to call them back. Really? Just so we can play phone tag again for another 3 days? (Dr. Wiggins didn’t even know I had called! The nurses didn’t log it into the system. I played back the message from the nurse for her from my phone, so she’d know I’d called and they’d eventually called me back). Then, my husband and I went to Puerto Vallarta, and I came back with a pretty bad diarrhea that lasted about 2 weeks.I called, worried about Listeria (I had Mexican cheeses without realizing I wasn’t supposed to) or something else, but the office and I played phone tag for a few days (Mind you, i’m no longer working, so its not like its hard to get a hold of me on my cell. You just can’t get them to call you back before 4 pm no matter what time you call in the morning, and sometimes not until the next day or so! Then if you miss the call, you go through the same process over again.)Eventually, they thought I had a UTI and sent me in for a urine test. They called in a script for an antibiotic and wanted me to start on it right away.I didn’t want to until it was confirmed that I had the UTI. 5 days later, I still hadn’t heard back re: whether I had a UTI or not and had to call them myself – only to be told I didn’t!Thank god I didn’t take the meds. Then a month later, I thought I had a UTI, called them, no response for 24 hours (apparently UTIs when you’re pregnant are a BIG DEAL) so I went online and purchased a urine culture myself.Nurse called and I told her I dad the results faxed to them; she suggested I start the antibiotic they had called in last time, and 2 weeks later, still hadn’t heard from them to confirm the test results! When I finally called, they said they didn’t get the results. Why didn’t they call me??? I read out the results to her and guess what? No UTI.I can’t stand this office. I will be changing OBs as soon as I can.
