I was a patient of Dr. Judy Miramontes for several years during my initial years of starting a family.She delivered my first son and all seemed well despite her poor social skills and cold disposition.When I became pregnant with my second son three years later, I regrettably returned to her care.She consistently dismissed my complaints of feeling excruciating pain during my final trimester.She brushed off my concerns as “normal pregnancy pains. She advised me to take walks and have sex in efforts to expedite labor.When I begged her to schedule a c-section, she told me that she wouldnt be able to in the upcoming week because she had plans with her mother.Frustrated, upset and feeling in despair, I sought out another OBGYN the next morning who performed an ultra sound and immediately noticed that my baby was breech.I was then sent to the hospital where an emergency c section was performed.There were other noted complications from my pregnancy and my son was born vision impaired.Although, I am not certain that his disability is a direct result of the poor care I was provided by Dr Miramontes, I will always regret not seeking another doctor much sooner.She is a horrible doctor and a heartless human being.
