I came across a critical review of Dr. Lin Robert on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Numerous Issues’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Dr. Lin Robert with a pinch of salt.
Here is what the review says –
There have been numerous issues that I have encountered in the past with Dr. Lin Roberts office, but nothing was serious enough to prompt me to write this feedback. For example, a couple of my past TB tests were scheduled for dates that they cant do TB test. This resulted in unnecessary trips to the office and additional trips back to the office. At least once I was charge office visitation fee when I was there merely to pick up my prescription. The one that really tipped me over the edge was my recent encounter.I recently missed my appointment by 5 minutes and was promptly told by the office staff that I cannot see Dr. Lin and will need to pay a no-show fee. There was no reminder call and I had totally forgot about the appointment. As I drove by the office (actually 2 blocks away from the actual office), I called Dr. Lins office to double check my appointment time, and that was when I was greeted with the no-show fee.I was told that Dr. Lin was really busy at the time.I am pretty sure if I had shown up on time, Dr. Lin would not have been able to see me promptly on my appointment time anyways. It would have been nice if his staff have asked how fast I can get to the office (would have been there in less than 2 minutes).I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Lin for over 10 years, but looks like our doctor-patient relationship is about to come to end.The impression that his office staffs gave me was all he care is getting money from his patients.I request for Dr. Lin to gave me a call back when he have time, but still have not received any call from him.============= So it turns out Dr. Lin left for vacation on Tuesday morning (same day as my appointment) and will be away for 2 weeks. It is interesting that the front desk does not bother to let me know that until I called today. The fact that I was suppose to get my TB test on Tuesday, he would not have been able to follow up the result after 48 hours as he is away.Charging me a no show for a service that couldnt have been rendered sounds quite fishy to me.
