I came across a critical review of Dr. Thang Tran on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘There Is No Compassion, Sense Of Responsibility’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Dr. Thang Tran with a pinch of salt.

My grandfather went to Dr. Thang Tran for years. He was dying of lung cancer, and had painful episodes of not being able to breath fully, and side effects from chemo.We took him to the office to ask if theres anything the doctor can do/prescribe to alleviate his discomfort. His reply: why do you even bother to bring him here?I called the office for my dad, who was in pain (for something he had been seeing the doctor for), and asked if the MD can call Walgreens for a prescription.The secretary snapped “no prescription unless you come in.Which translates to = no money for us unless you come in (again).A year later. My father was hospitalized for a gallbladder infection Dr Thang, his PCP, never called or showed once!During this stay, they discovered a mass in my dads kidney, and VMC did a biopsy to see if its malignant.VMC said they could not disclose the result to us, and that it would be sent to Dr Thang since hes the primary care provider who will disclose it to us.We waited, and waited and WAITED. Can you imagine the fear, the anticipation of waiting to find out if you have cancer or not?!NO calls from the MD. We spent hours on the phone trying to get through to VMC, only to find out the results were already sent to the doctor a month prior!If you care about your health and your familys health, do not consider going to this doctor.There is no compassion, sense of responsibility, or professionalism here.

It is difficult to ascertain whether Dr. Thang Tran is a Scam, or Legit, based on this single review. In the coming weeks/days, I will try to research deeper into Dr. Thang Tran, analyze and list more critical reviews and identify a pattern (or lack of) to substantiate the claim mentioned above.
Regardless, until then, we give the benefit of doubt to the reviewer and list Dr. Thang Tran as someone you need to avoid (for now).
