I came across a critical review of Faye Dibachi on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘If I had listened to her I would not have my current home’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Faye Dibachi with a pinch of salt.
Here is what the review says –
Faye worked with us for 5 or 6 offers that although were not winners were at times competive and other times not, although Faye encouraged us to always make an offer. That is until our final offer, for a place where our large down payment would make us very competitve, due to the seller financing. Even though she was involved in this property before, knew the selling agent (another Zephyr agent),and had previously encouraged us to make offers (some she knew were not even close), she strongly discouraged us from making an offer, unless were willing to bid 50K over asking. I did not think the comps, the sale price of that unit only 3 years prior, and the price index for that neighborhood required such a drastic overbid. She was adamant about it and had basically refused to do it for us.The only way we got the bid in was to yell and scold her over the phone, to the point that she handed us off to another broker who ended up reaping the benefits of our, what turned out to be, successful offer (which we negotiated down after the fact too!).I originally posted this a week ago and after scores of conversations with her, where Faye tried to get me to remove any negative post, through various explanations, pleas and offers, what she never did offer was a decent explanation why she fought tooth and nail to her own detriment against our eventually winning offer. I have suggested she was attempting to bid up the price (to our detriment but always to the benefit of the realtors, be they buyer or seller), was displaying incompetence in this instance, was tired of my wife and me and our value oriented nature, or so arrogant to think she knew better. If I had listened to her I would not have my current home or it would have cost 45K more than we got it for and that is the truth.
