Graziano & Company, CPAs – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Graziano & Company, CPAs on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Graziano & Company, CPAs with a pinch of salt.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! Graziano & Company, CPAs will take your money and provide ZERO customer service or advice.They simply key your W2 info and give you the standard deduction because that is the least amount of work for them.You can do that yourself with Turbo Tax and save your money!Here you drop off your paperwork and pick up your completed tax return about a week later.No qualified accountant will go over your completed return with you, ask you questions to double check if they can find further deductions that you may not realize you are entitled to or even to know to ask about (as professionals charging a hefty fee the expectation certainly is that they will make this effort and provide these services) – they do not explain anything.Just hand you the folder and ask you to sign the forms and pay them. That’s it.If you ask to speak to someone about your return they offer the receptionist (YES THE RECEPTIONIST) to answer your questions about your return!If you insist on speaking with someone qualified to go over your taxes then an accountant & in this case also the owner – will talk to you STANDING IN THE HALLWAY WITH NO PRIVACY WITHIN SIGHT AND EARSHOT OF EVERYONE IN THEIR WAITING ROOM SO THOSE PEOPLE CAN ALSO HEAR ALL ABOUT YOUR PRIVATE FINANCIAL AFFAIRS.Lovely. I had called ahead to ask what would be a good time to come so I could speak with the preparer- so there is no excuse for this treatment.They don’t even have enough courtesy to bring you into one of their offices to sit down to discuss the return with you – after charging $350.Outrageous! BEWARE! For the money they charge and the lack of service they provide you are better off going elsewhere where you will be treated with dignity and respect.
