I came across a critical review of Hana Financial on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Hana Financial Is A Joke’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Hana Financial with a pinch of salt.
Here is what the review says –
Hana Financial is a joke. I have applied for a 100k loan to buy a house through a broker.Everything went very well at first and throughout. I have completed everything they needed. They approved my loan and even signed the loan Documents, which were sent by a Mobile Notary, then, they received the Loan documents back from Escrow. In 72 hours they suppose to Fund and I suppose to get the key for the house. On Yesterday My agent called that Escrow called him and told him that they will record the deed in afternoon. Then, he got another call one hour later and told him that cannot record the deed because Bank did not transfer the fund.I have not enrolled my kids in school because I was planning to move this week, and gave notice to my current apartment and by September 25th, my apartment must be vacant.I have gone through everything and signed many pages and turn in documents back and forth. But, at very last moment they canceled my loan for no apparent reason. They assume I may not be living there. Can they cancel a loan based on assumption? Is that legal? How they know I wont live there? They reasoned because it is 70 Miles from where I live now.So, what? I am a self employed and manage my website from home. I dont work for somebody. They keep reasoning my mailing address which I will changing when I move to Lake Elsinore.I had to pay for everything. This is very unfair. Be aware of this. This company cannot perform. I dont even have written decision yet, but my broker told me these orally. Perhaps Legal actions may work.
