I came across a critical review of Heide Wolf-Reid – Legacy Real Estate & Associates on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Customer Service’.

I’m going to be the dissenting voice here. I had dealings with her in her role as realtor crossed with owner/landlord, as she was attempting to rent her husband’s property in Menlo Park.This is a rough market for both buyers and renters. A touch of courtesy and respect goes a long way.I interacted with at least 20 landlords/owners/realtors in the process of looking for a place, and Heide stood out as the least professional.I have also owned homes, and been a landlord myself.Heide is a poor communicator. She has an abrupt demeanor on the phone, does not return phone calls in a timely manner (more than 24h in my case, for a timely business interaction, leaving us hanging when the information could have easily been communicated by email), and seems to be out of sync with business partners, in this case, her husband of all people, who offered us the place after much ado, and then recanted because Heide had decided to offer it to someone else simultaneously in an effort to pit us against each other.Suffice it to say, we weren’t willing to play the, “well the other applicants are willing to offer $200 over asking price for it… (heavy silence)” game.The drama that she created was par none – the other applicants actually backed out *after* signing the lease, duh.That seems to be what happens when your business dealings are shady.And all of this was done with callousness.I would not recommend Heide for any business interactions, least of all delicate real estate transactions given what a complete cluster she made of a relatively simple rental contract, with agreements made, backed out on, and ineffectual bidding wars.Likewise, I wouldn’t recommend her if you have interest in working with someone who has some sort of ethical compass, as this is probably what stood out the most and what was the most disturbing about our interactions with her.Not recommended.
