Himalayan Holidayers – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Himalayan Holidayers on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘They will not keep up the promise after taking the money.’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Himalayan Holidayers with a pinch of salt.

Here is what the review says –

This is in connection with our recent Himachal Tour package with Himalayan Holidayer aka Himalayan Holiday. We never expected such a bad experience with HIMALAYAN HOLIDAYERS even after selecting luxury package.Except the Shimla all the other hotels (Manali, Dharmashala & Delhousie) are of 3rd class category, how can you offer such hotels in Luxury package? the same thing was also conveyed to you once we reached the Manali but there was no response from your end.The Hotel Royal Grand in Manali, The Hotel Sky Haven in Dharamshala and Hotel Himalayan Resort in Delhousie was extremely worst, these are the very old hotels which was not maintained properly.Above each Hotels was smelling bad once you enter into their rooms, there was no proper housekeeping into each above hotels, the bedding was uncleaned, no power in hotels most of the times, additional charges taken towards electrical heater and triple rates for mineral water. The food quality was also not up to the mark. Such a bad experience. Are you taking regular survey of this hotels before offering or looking at the good prices/discounts you just booking this hotels.Secondly we have asked for INNOVA at the initial stage of finalization and got Ertiga , which was very uncomfortable for all of all during whole tour. For this reason we had very bad arguments with your travel coordinator at Shimla which you know very well. this is not acceptable and not professional approach by Himalayan Holidayer. We had not negotiated even a single pie for overall package looking at the luxury which you will going to offer but never expect such worst experience. how can you compensate this ??? we realize that we loss almost our half package price without enjoying the tour.During initial stage we clearly mentioned our requirements for god hotels and INNOVA car with professional driver, but HIMALAYAN HOLIDAYS are at not bother about the same. This was very bad experience.Kindly let us know how will you compensate this ?? Our other colleague in Gujarat are inquiring about the same what will be our feedback ??Please understand.Greetings from Himalayan Holidayers! We are pleased to confirm your 8 nights 9 days Luxury Holiday Package Delhi,Shimla,Manali,Dharamshala,Dalhausie,Delhi by cab. We have received Full payment Rs.1,17,800/- (Rs.30,321/- (By IMPS in Our ICICI Bank On 26/11/2018) and (Rs.28,579/-(By NEFT in Our ICICI Bank On 19/12/2018+Rs.12,100/- Paid to Driver+Rs.46,800/- Paid at Shimla Office on 25/12/2018.Thanks & Regards Operation Team 09318099967,60,61 9218099976,61 92185-77753,42HEAVEN HIMACHAL 08 NIGHTS / 09 DAYS Delhi-Shimla (02 nights)-Manali (03 nights) Dharamshala (01 Night)- Dalhousie (02 Nights)- DelhiDay 01 (23rd Dec) :DELHI –SHIMLA (370 kms 8-9Hours.
