I came across a critical review of MedCheck Speedway on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Wast of time’.
DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against MedCheck Speedway with a pinch of salt.
Here is what the review says –
I needed to be seen by a doctor and had planned on visiting MedCheck Speedway since it is quite close to where I live.I called ahead just to see how busy they were and was transferred to a nurse. The nurse told me they do not do blood draws nor x-rays here and that if they were ordered, I would be referred to my primary care doctor, which I do not have.I thought that one reason these types of clinics exist is so that people who do not have a regular doctor can be seen right away. The nurse was also not very understanding nor accommodating about my condition and limitations that I expressed. She made a point to say that if an emergency were to come in, they would go ahead of me.She made no attempt to ease my mind about a long wait whilst feeling so terribly ill.I ended up calling the Medcheck in Carmel, as recommended by a family member. The Carmel location does indeed draw blood and offers x-rays when ordered by a doctor. They were baffled as to why this Medcheck in Speedway had told me they do not.I had a feeling I was going to need both blood and x-rays taken, which I did end up needing, so I am glad I did not waste my time nor put myself through any unnecessary stress by going any further than the phone call with the Medcheck in Speedway.I was quite happy with my experience in Carmel. This location should take some lessons from them.09-13 Editing to add that the Carmel location ended up being a complete waste of time as well. Why do any of these MedChecks exist if only a Primary Care Physician can help you in the end? Dont bother with either location.
