Megawinners.com – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Megawinners.com on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Mega millions online Lottery’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Megawinners.com with a pinch of salt.

I was sent a text saying I’m one of the lucky one’s whose been chosen and winner of 200.000 lottery online mega millions on January 29th. I texted back saying r u for real? I got suckered in anyways and followed through the process of giving my information on a website www.megawinners.com and submitted the form. To me it looked legit.So I sent it he emailed me to pay for the delivery and insurance of this money that was to be sent. He wanted 850 to be paid. So I told my mother about it sheasy asked how u win and is it a scam or wat? I said no a girl told me on the Internet said she saw my name on the winners list and picture so I believed her.I’m so gullible. So my mother lent me the 850 they gave me an address where to send it and I did the very next day. Text Jon and sent him the info for when to pick up the money and asked when do I see my money said 48 to 72 hours he said kindly be in touch OK.I said yup I’m so excited about it. So he text me told me the IRS put a stop to the fed ex that was to deliver ur winnings and need 2500 . I told him I got no more money to send and chelsea sent me a fraud cheque. He won’t return our money now.
