Porsche Birmingham – Legit or Scam?

I came across a critical review of Porsche Birmingham on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘The Porsche service department’.

DirtyScam allows anonymous submission of complaints from angry consumers and victims of scams. Since the website is hosted offshore (probably in Russia or India), we take this (negative) review against Porsche Birmingham with a pinch of salt.

Here is what the review says –

I’ve bought 2 Porsches from Porsche Birmingham and I absolutely loved it – I have a lot of appreciation for the sales department here. They are respectful, professional and very knowledgeable. However, I honestly get the WORST service from Richard, the service department employee. If I am going to spend minimum $500 – $1000 for service/repairs, I expect at least a little bit of respect or a decent customer service. He always has a belittling tone and most disrespectful way of treating me.I didn’t say anything when he forgot that I needed a ride back to work for 30 minutes.I didn’t say anything when he forgot to call me when my car was ready. But, when I was trying to figure out a time for a driver to pick me up, Richard nearly yelled at me with the most disrespectful voice saying they cannot give me a ride because they are too busy and the drivers will get overtime. Then I asked him what the total will be and he said he does not know with the most annoyed tone. Was I not supposed to ask what the total was going to be??? Very unprofessional. It’s okay if they can’t pick me up, then they should’ve let me know in the morning when they dropped me off.Or at least be polite and professional about it.I really DO NOT recommend the service department for any Porsche customers.I will not be back to purchase another car here.
