I came across a critical review of Taxpayer Advocacy Services, Inc on a Scam Reporting website – DirtyScam.com, titled ‘Lack Of Professionalism’.

I’ve worked with Taxpayer Advocacy Services, Inc advocacy for two years now. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend them.I was criticized for a lack of tax knowledge and yelled at on tax day.John threatened to abandon me and have me pick up my paperwork on April 15.I understand the stress tax providers must go through and accepted his apology.I intended to stay until I received my bill which was 60% more than I was told when we started.Since I asked what the estimated fee would be I felt that, at any time during the two months we worked together, I could’ve been updated and prepared for this significant increase in price.Due to their lack of professionalism and, what I would consider expensive fees, I would not recommend them.
